How did you kickstart your career in Sales?

ZK: “My career journey seamlessly blends my engineering and business backgrounds, allowing me to operate at the intersection of technology and customer-centric solutions. I transitioned into roles that enabled me to bridge the gap between technology and business, bringing me closer to customers. This combination empowered me to not only comprehend the intricacies of technological solutions but also to translate them into tangible value for partners and clients.

My professional journey spans multiple roles and industries in both Europe and Asia within the tech sector. I contributed to the growth of various startups, including multi-billion dollar entities in the EdTech sector. I've also had the opportunity of collaborating with industry giants, including Fortune 500 companies like ABB, and playing a role in bolstering the position and growth strategies of regional powerhouse companies in the MENA region.”

What made you interested in joining Bayes Esports?

ZK: “Gaming has been a part of my life since childhood, starting with Counter-Strike in 2005. This game ignited my love for multiplayer experiences, turning gaming into a lifelong passion. When the chance to join Bayes Esports arose, I eagerly seized it. It was a seamless decision, marrying my love for gaming with my expertise, and I'm genuinely thrilled that I did.”

What is the most exciting thing about working in esports?

ZK: “The dynamic and rapidly evolving nature of the esports landscape ensures that no two days are the same, presenting constant challenges and opportunities. Contributing to an industry that resonates with millions worldwide, and witnessing the continual growth and evolution of esports is genuinely invigorating.

Working in esports also provides me with the exciting opportunity to travel to events, allowing me to witness the action up close alongside fans and players. Being physically present at these events not only enhances my professional engagement but also allows me to immerse myself in the electrifying atmosphere and connect directly with the esports community. It's a unique aspect of the job that adds an extra layer of excitement and authenticity to the overall experience.”

Embrace challenges as opportunities to develop new skills, stay adaptable in this dynamic field, and never underestimate the power of effective communication and collaboration. Finally, remember to maintain a healthy work-life balance to sustain long-term career success and fulfillment.”
